Well we had the get together at our house on Sat for my husbands family Christmas. Everyone was on good behavior.  I was a little disappointed because everyone just ate, opened presents, then left so were only there about 3 hrs total but I figure if Ned was there longer that he may have turned into angry Ned.  All in all it was a good day.

I'm glad everyone behaved.   At least now you know for certain that it is possible!   I'd rather you spent a short time together with everyone being boringly well behaved than to have spent another hour together with people behaving obnoxiously.  Sounds like a very good day indeed.
