Life in General / Re: Addressing a wrong medication

I've only seen labetalol and nifedipine prescribed to pregnant women with high blood pressure. There may be other options though.

I'm surprised you are having such a hard time getting a straight answer though. This shouldn't be happening. I'd honestly look to replace both sets of doctors. OB/gyns can and do prescribe and monitor their pregnant or TTC moms with proper hypertension meds.

Agreed. I've been on Labetalol since I was pregnant with DD (14) and it was the OB/GYN who initially put me on it, but "handed it off" to my GP to manage post delivery. Odd that the OB/GYN and fertility specialists won't prescribe.

I have returned erroneous voicemails twice. The first was from a woman, who rightfully so, left a very angry message about a lawn care company basically ruining their yard. They'd used the wrong chemicals or something and essentially turned the grass brown. I checked the lawn care company's phone number and sure enough, the last two digits were the same as ours but flipped (12 instead of 21). I called her back. She was very polite and apologized to me profusely for her "mini-rage".

The second time was after DD (14) got her first cell phone. She had had about a month when she told me a number kept calling her every day at the same time. I took her phone with me to work to wait for the call (she was 12 when she got it and it stayed home during school hours). It was a debt collector. They had started collections against the former owner of the number a month prior. He said it was very common for people to ditch their old numbers for new ones when the process began. He removed DD's number from the system.

Hobbies / Re: Cricut

I do not have a Cricut. I have a Silhouette Cameo 3. My sister, does however have both a Cricut and a Silhouette and pointed me in the direction of the Cameo as the design software that comes free allows for free design. I can take literally any JPG and convert it a cut file as well as use fonts from free online sources versus playing for them in the Silhouette shop.

What do I use it for? Practically everything. I used heat transfer vinyl (HTV) to cut custom iron ons and label DD's softball bag. Stencil material to make stencils for silk screened t-shirts. Cardstock to make gift card holders and signage, as well as assist DD with the odd school project. Right now, I'm weighing my options on Amazon as far as what material to use to make custom cookie stencils.

ETA: figured out how to compress pictures.
