My parents both grew up in the country, and their siblings still lived there when we were young.  We used to spend our summers in the country with our cousins. My dad always told us that if we licked the salt block for the cattle, we'd grow horns. I believed him for the longest.

My oldest grandson was riding with me one day and Taylor Swift's "Our Song" came on.  In the chorus she sings, "Our song is a slamming screen door." He sang it as, "Our song is as lame as creamed corn."  ;D
