To read before you have a colonoscopy:

I'm only halfway through, but I wanted to thank you so much vintagegal!

Warning, though: definitely NSFW!

I had to muffle my laughter or I would have disturbed my downstairs neighbor.  ;D

Am I glad I had off work today! If I'd read that at work I wouldn't have been able to function from laughing so hard.

I previewed this, so hopefully it works.

I was wheezing because I couldn't breathe due to laughing so hard...I can just see his wife walking in...talk about having a whole new perspective on your spouse...

Have we had "dogs in elk" yet?

https://wwwx.cs.unc.edu/~hays/humor/dogs_in_elk.html

If so, I apologise.

Nope, that's not been posted yet. I think I did read this years ago too - still funny!

One of my all-time favorites, and always worth a reread.

Since we have Dogs in Elk, I offer the Dog and Sweet Potato https://littera-abactor.livejournal.com/7748.html

This popped up on my listserv and I read it the wrong way at first - am I the only one?

Roomba from iRobot and an iMop $200

iRobotR RoombaR 690 Vacuuming Robot & Braava jetR 240 Mopping Robot
Bundle $495

This is a great little vacuum. We have dogs and this has definitely helped
with the cleaning process. We have 3 of them and only need 2.

One from an "everything under the sun" board, which it calls "The Stupid Joke Thread" -- and boy, are they ever.  Hope link, below, succeeds -- I seem often to have linking problems.

https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=862372

A couple of examples --

Q.  What do you call a female pig?

A.  A sow.

Q.  What do you call a male deer?

A.  A buck.

Q.  What do you call 50 female pigs and 50 male deer?

A.  A hundred sows and [thousand] bucks.

I have a confession: I never learnt the entire alphabet.  I don't know Why.

I don't get it.

If you read it quickly (try it out loud) 'One hundred sows and bucks' sounds like "One hundred thousand bucks."

P.S.  For those not living in the U.S.A., the word 'buck' is (in addition to being a male deer) another word for dollar.

For the last pun, think "Y" instead of "Why".

Is this referring to something?

In other words, I don't get it. ;D

I have a confession: I never learnt the entire alphabet. I don't know Why.

It's in reference to this.  I don't know (the letter) 'Y'.
