Our zoo's female Sumatra Tiger gave birth to FOUR tiger cubs early this morning! The zookeepers were expecting two.

Beautiful!  Is there another mama tiger in case she needs help?  It's unusual for tigresses to have more than two.

No, just the Daddy. Per tiger protocol, he's not hanging around. This is Jingga's second litter, so she seems to be doing very well with them- getting them to nurse, etc.
